In the early years of Elizabeth General's founding, postcards were a popular way of promoting local institutions and points of interest. There are thousands of collectors of these postcards, and the messages written on the other side were also fascinating and personal. There are dozens of postcards about Elizabeth's places and monuments, and these are some of those pertaining specifically to "the General."
One of the most interesting of all the postcards was/is a leather postcard that was actually sent and received via regular mail.
